We all want Hekshusstranda Camping to be a pleasant place where everyone feels comfortable. We need some "rules of engagement" to achieve this 😊.


Nighttime quiet:
Between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, there should be quiet, and the utmost consideration should be shown to other guests. Hekshusstranda Camping organizes some events in the summer that last until midnight; these dates will be communicated well in advance of the event.


Subletting:
Subletting of caravan/spots is not allowed without written consent from the landlord. It is not allowed to lend the caravan/spot to anyone other than the tenant (mentioned by name in the contract) and the tenant's permanent household (same address in the population register) or children of the same household when they are over 21 years old.


Driving:
Driving is limited to a minimum and should be at walking speed. Between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, driving within the campsite is not allowed.


Eviction:
Persons who are excessively intoxicated, behave indecently, create noise, or in any way are a nuisance to other campers may be evicted immediately. Rental agreements can be terminated by the site operators in the case of persistent disturbances that are repeatedly a nuisance to other campers. Please contact the site operators if any disagreements arise so that we can address the issues early on.


Dogs and Cats:
Consideration must be shown to other guests regarding pets. Dog owners are responsible for ensuring their dog's behavior is acceptable on a campsite. All dogs on the campsite should be kept on a leash, even outside the general leash time. All dog and cat waste must be removed by the owner. This applies both on the pitch and along roads and paths where others may walk. Cats on the campsite must be supervised and, for hygienic reasons, cannot roam freely on the pitch.


Bonfires and Grilling:
It is forbidden to light bonfires or fire pits on the campsite. The use of grills is allowed. The grill should be placed securely and at a safe distance from flammable material. Keep an eye on the grill as long as it is hot. Cold charcoal should be emptied into the red container designated for flammable material.


Planting:
You are free to plant on your pitch, but hedges, etc., should not be planted to obstruct free movement around your pitch. It should be possible to stroll freely at Hekshusstranda Camping AS but, of course, respecting the privacy of guests. The railing around the pitch should be a maximum of 180 cm at the highest point. Thuja plants are not allowed as they dry from the inside and pose a significant fire hazard in case of a fire.


Sale of Caravan/Isocamp/Tent and Platform
If you terminate in the middle of a season, rent must still be paid in full.
When a pitch is terminated, you have the option to resell your pitch if the operator approves it. The pitch must then be inspected by the operator to assess the quality. If the pitch is old and worn and ready for replacement, the operator may order its removal. If there is a waiting list for pitches, these people must be informed first that the pitch is for sale. An ad must be created and sent out to everyone on the interest list. This is paid for by the seller but done in collaboration with the operator. The new buyer must be greeted and approved by the operator before the sale can be completed. There is a fee to Hekshusstranda Camping AS for the resale of a pitch.
Sale of pitch with only a platform: Kr: 500.00
Sale of pitch with platform and tent: 1500.00
Sale of pitch with platform and Isocamp: 2000.00
Sale of pitch with platform, tent, and caravan: 2500.00
Sale of pitch with platform, Isocamp, and caravan: 3000.00
Before the sale can be completed, the previous owner must be up to date with all payments of annual rent and electricity.


Guidelines for Cars (Vehicles) and Boats:
There is only ONE parking space (vehicle) per caravan pitch. It is not allowed to use the neighbor's space if he/she is not on the pitch. Visitors or the need for a second car MUST be parked in the parking lot up by the containers or down in the marina. Visitors with a disability permit must be given priority for the space by the caravan. Larger vehicles, such as large vans and trucks, should find alternative parking, as there is no room for them in the guest parking or on the pitch. This applies to both summer and winter seasons.
Boat storage is not allowed on the pitch or in the guest parking. Boat trailers should be taken home or stored elsewhere than on the campsite after the boat is launched. It is not allowed to store boats or boat trailers on the pitch in summer or winter.


Guidelines for changing caravan/tent and changes to the platform:
We are as close to a building ban as we can get. The reason for this is that the space is small, and we have no expansion possibilities. Of course, you can change the caravan and renovate your platform, but you MUST contact the management to get your plans approved. We have approval for 3 meters between flammable materials but recommend at least 4 meters. What is important to remember when building is that the area between caravans should be shared with the neighbor as well. Building without permission from us can lead to the termination of the pitch.


Consequences of violating pitch instructions:
All tenants, guests, and others staying at Hekshusstranda Camping AS are obligated to follow the Pitch Instructions and the guidelines.
In the event of a violation of the pitch instructions for Hekshusstranda Camping AS, the following consequences apply:
A verbal warning is given.
In the case of persistent or serious violations for the first time, a written warning is given.
On the third warning, the pitch is terminated with a 14-day notice to vacate.
In the case of a serious violation, immediate eviction from the pitch may occur.
In the event of eviction, the right of disposition is taken over by the site operator. Rent and any outstanding amounts must be paid in full, even if eviction occurs.
